Google Chrome on Mac OS X (In Wine)

Just a quick note to say that based on these instructions, I was able to get Google Chrome running on Mac OS X, using Fink.

You'll need to enable unstable ("fink configure", followed by "fink selfupdate-rsync"), and then do a "fink install wine cabextract". Then start at the "offline installer" part of the instructions.

Woot!

Cool! But, we still need a native version! Here's the instructions for building on OS X.

This does not work. You just opened Google Chrome in a VMWare Fusion window.

No, actually, it did work. I can't say if it still works, I haven't tried it for a while. Thanks for taking the time to log in and call me a lair though. ;)
